The mission of the Bridge Club at Coconino Community College is to foster a supportive and empowering environment for Black students. As a united sommunity, we strive to bridge the gaps of understanding, celebrate diversity, and promote cultural awareness. Through educational initiatives, community engagement, and collaboration, we aim to create a space where Black students can thrive academically, socially, and culturally. The Bridge Club is committed to promoting equity, inclusivity, and excellence, serving as a bridge that connects individuals, ideas, and opportunities within our college community.
CCC Students are invited to join the NAU Black Student Union meetings in the Office of Inclusion (IMQ) in the University Union at NAU. Upcoming meetings are on:

- Welcome Mixer: Host a welcoming event at the beginning of the academic year to introduce new and returning members, fostering a sense of community.
- Cultural Awareness Workshops: Conduct workshops to promote cultural understanding, covering topics such as the history, traditions, and contributions of the Black community.
- Community Service Projects: Organize and participate in community service initiatives to give back to local community and stregthen the club's committment to social responsibility.
- Guest Speaker Series: Invite guest speakers, including professionals, activists, and community leaders, to share insights and experiences with the club members.
- Black History Month Celebrations: Plan events throughout February to celebrate Black HistoryMonth, such as film screenings, panel discussions, and cultural performances.
- Networking Mixers: Host networking events to facilitate connections between club members and professionals in various fields, providing opportunities for mentorship and career advice.
- Art and Music Showcases: Showcase the talents of Black artists and musicians within the college community through art exhibitions, poetry readings, or musical performances.
- College Success Workshops: Offer workshops on academic success, career development, and personal growth tailored to the needs and aspirations of Black students.
- Empowerment Symposium: Host a symposium focused on empowerment, leadership development, and self-confidence for Black students.

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) recognizes the academic achievement of college students and provides opportunities for its members to grow as scholars and leaders. Established in 1918, Phi Theta Kappa has a presence on almost 1,300 community college campuses in 11 nations. The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) recognized Phi Theta Kappa as the official honor society for two-year colleges in 1929. More than 3.5 million students have been inducted since 1918, with approximately 250,000 active members in the nation's community colleges, making Phi Theta Kappa a true catalyst among members and colleges.

CCC Garden Club

The CCC Garden Club is open to CCC students and employees alike! The goal of this club is to provide educational experiences to foster our participants' knowledge of high elevation gardening, native flora, and environmental stewardship. Activities include CCC Garden maintenance and projects, monthly educational presentations from Coconino Master Gardeners, guided tours of productive local gardens, and community volunteer projects such as invasive weed pulls and seed library help.
The CCC Garden is a designated Master Gardener educational site, an official pollinator garden, and, as of Fall 2021, it is also now the site of CCC's Bridges 2 Baccalaureate medicinal garden. The CCC Garden is located at the Lone Tree campus, south of the 600 building and ceramics kiln.
